Terms of Service

Welcome to BigRAT Logistics. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Scope of Services

BigRAT Logistics provides comprehensive storage and logistics solutions, including commission-based work opportunities for qualified students. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Luggage transportation services
  • Partner/agent-based commission job opportunities

2. User Eligibility

To access and use our services, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a current KNUST student with valid student identification
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date personal and contact information
  • Agree not to represent any other logistics agency while under contract with BigRAT Logistics (applicable to agents only)

3. Commission-Based Work

Agents working with BigRAT Logistics are subject to the following terms:

  • Will earn a fixed rate of GHS 5 per successfully transported or referred item (or as stated in your individual contract)
  • Must not engage in similar commission jobs with competing logistics companies during the period of engagement
  • Are classified as independent contractors, not employees of BigRAT Logistics

4. Booking and Payment

  • Sign up using your Gmail account
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date personal and contact information
  • Pay the required commitment fee of GHS 25 (twenty-five Ghana cedis)
  • Prices and charges are subject to change with prior notice
  • Refunds are subject to review and are not guaranteed for missed or delayed pickups caused by customer error
  • A confirmation message will be sent via email within 2 minutes of payment

5. Responsibilities of Customers

Customers are required to:

  • Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details
  • Ensure items for transport are properly packaged and labeled
  • Avoid transporting prohibited or hazardous materials

6. Liability and Claims

BigRAT Logistics shall not be held liable for:

  • Items not packed securely by the customer
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or third-party disruptions

For claims regarding damage or loss, the customer must report such incidents within 24 hours of delivery.

7. Prohibited Uses

Users agree not to:

  • Use our service for any unlawful activities
  • Misrepresent themselves or their packages
  • Interfere with our systems or operations

8. Termination

BigRAT Logistics reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to our services at any time for violations of these terms and conditions.

9. Privacy

We value your privacy. Personal data collected is used solely for service delivery and communication purposes. We do not share your data with unauthorized third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
