3. Booking and Payment Policy

3.1 Booking Process

To book a service with BigRAT Logistics, customers must:

  • Sign up via the provided registration link
  • Provide accurate details including:
    • Sender and receiver contact information
    • Pickup and delivery addresses
    • Description of item(s)
    • Preferred date and time

3.2 Confirmation

  • A confirmation message will be sent via SMS, email, or WhatsApp once the booking is accepted
  • Bookings are not considered valid until confirmed by a BigRAT Logistics agent or via email

3.3 Payment Terms

  • All payments must be made before the time of pickup, unless otherwise agreed
  • Payment options include:
    • Mobile Money (MoMo)
    • Bank transfer (if applicable)
  • Receipts will be issued for all payments

3.4 Pricing

Pricing is based on:

  • Distance of transport (from pickup to delivery)
  • Size of the item(s)
  • Urgency (standard or express service)

BigRAT Logistics reserves the right to revise prices due to fuel changes, traffic restrictions, or unforeseen factors. All changes will be communicated in advance.

3.5 Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations can be made within 72 hours of scheduled pickup but will attract a cancellation fee
  • Refunds are processed only when:
    • BigRAT Logistics fails to deliver as agreed
    • Service is canceled by us without a suitable alternative
  • Refund processing time: 3–7 business days

3.6 No Hidden Charges

We pride ourselves on transparency. All charges will be disclosed during booking. No extra fees will be applied without customer approval.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to unauthorized third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With our authorized agents and service providers who assist in delivering our services
  • When required by law or to comply with legal processes
